Bright Futures Conference

The Baxter Academy of Technology and Science invites you to join us for three days of real-world, hands-on learning designed by teachers, for teachers.

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT - $100 off if you register before March 1st!

Practical Tools and Curricular Resources

At Baxter, we define rigor by connecting students' lived experiences, interests, and passions with their community context as makers and change agents. Our time together will be modeled on that same ethos, convening on the Maine coast where, through a mix of workshops, collaborative inquiry, and exploration, we will build a collective toolbox to drive innovation and imagination in our classrooms.

  • Coach students to be active community agents by connecting them to local resources

  • Provide opportunities for their students to build social, aspirational, and financial capital

  • Bring academics alive with summative designs that draw out the uniqueness of individual student voices; and

  • Incorporate fabrication and data inquiry into their curriculum.
