Baxter Alumni Network
January 26, 2023
Dear Baxter Alumni,
Hi, I am Oliver Brown, a senior at Baxter. My Flex Friday project this year is creating the Baxter Alumni Network. I am looking at how we can use our network of alumni more effectively through this project. The first step in accomplishing this is creating a digital platform where alumni can communicate. This will be in the form of a Discord server.
I would like to preface this by saying that I am using the term "network" instead of "association" to describe this project because the goal is not to create a structured association with appointed positions. The goal is to connect Baxter Alumni through an online platform and open conversations for future in-person reunions and events. This will include channels for networking, and sharing internship and job opportunities. As well as a more casual space to catch up with old friends and play games.
If you are interested in joining the network, please fill out this quick google form.Kindly,
Oliver Brown ‘23
