Ready to own your learning? At Baxter Academy, students drive their education through hands-on STEM exploration.

Initial applications for Fall 2026 opened on December 1st, 2025. Seats are still available for Grades 9, 10, and 11. All students applying after our lottery in March will be placed in available seats on a first-come, first-served basis. Read more about our enrollment process below.

Application Process


Step One: Submit Your Application

Complete THESE TWO forms online:

  1. Letter of Intent - Document digitally signed by parent and student declaring interest in attending.

  2. PowerSchool Application - Basic demographic information and entry into the lottery process.

Note: Current Baxter students don't need to re-apply - you'll receive a "Commitment to Enroll" form in January.

Applying for the Baxter Bound 9th grade program? Select that option in the Letter of Intent form.

 
 

Once both the Application and Letter of Intent to Enroll are completed, await further notification from the school on your enrollment status. If you have any questions, reach out to Tyler Beaulieu at admissions@baxter-academy.org.


Step Two: Await Results Notification

Families applying after the lottery will receive any available seats on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: Make sure emails from admissions@baxter-academy.org are not going to your SPAM folder!

Enrollment preferences:

  • Siblings of current students (guaranteed admission)

  • Children of employees, board members, and founders (up to 10% of total enrollment)


Step Three: Commitment to Enroll

Students who have been offered enrollment at Baxter will have fourteen (14) days to secure their space by submitting the Commitment to Enroll form. The link to the Commitment to Enroll form will be emailed to you from admissions@baxter-academy.org.

Once you submit the Commitment to Enroll form, your student is officially enrolled at Baxter Academy. We'll request records from their current school to complete the transfer.

Families who wish to withdraw their Commitment to Enroll must notify Tyler Beaulieu at admissions@baxter-academy.org.


Enrollment Calendar

Every year, there are three phases to our enrollment calendar. They roughly break out into these three categories:

Regular Enrollment - FalL (December - February)

  • When: December - February

  • For: Fall admission

  • Process: Random Lottery

Rolling Admissions - Fall (March - September)

  • When: March - September

  • For: Fall admission

  • Process: First-come, first-served

Rolling Transfer Admissions - Spring (October - January)

  • When: October - January

  • For: Spring admission

  • Process: First-come, first-served
