Info To Know

  • Earth Day Community Clean-Up Next Saturday, April 25! Check out the flyer below for all the details!

  • Students in Grades 7-9 are invited to a science workshop at Baxter Academy on Wednesday, April 22nd. Learn about PFAS and water quality. Sign up here.

  • Anytime/Anywhere Learning on May 4 - Students must submit their AAL forms before 5/4 to be counted as present.

  • Maine Through-Year Assessment for Grade 10: Through-Year assessments are taking place on May 6. Our school must meet a 95% participation rate on this test per the Maine Charter School Commission.

  • Our online school store is open for the spring! Order before April 17th to pick up at school at the end of May.

  • New option at Flores, the Baxter Rice Bowl. Order today!

  • Maine Community Swimming (partnering with Baxter for fall swim lessons) invites you to When Everyone Swims documentary screening. April 30, 6 PM, Merrill Auditorium. $10 suggested donation.

  • Renee Graffam '28 is leading a Maine Needs drive for household essentials as her Flex Friday project. The Advisory donating the most items wins a prize! Needed items: All-purpose cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, trash bags, sponges, dish soap, hand soap, and disinfectant wipes. Check out the flyer or contact Renee or Nikki for more information.

  • 50 Baxter students will receive a Level 1 Youth Aquaculture microcredential from the University of Maine after a 3-day training in the Great Room, Tuesday 4/7 through Thursday 4/9.

Junior Families Needed

  • We are looking for parent leaders to run and coordinate the senior breakfast in May. If you are interested, please contact the Front Office.

Help for Senior Retreat

  • The Senior Retreat will be at Fort Williams/Portland Headlight on May 27! We are looking for chaperones, burger flippers and donations of food. Contact the Front Office if interested.
