exploratory and entrepreneurial focus

The Summit Capstone Pathway puts learning in the hands of the individual. The pathway provides opportunities for each student to explore a focus or passion. Studies surrounding an individual focus will correlate to the standards needed to graduate and excel not only in school, but in life. Summit offers the chance to strengthen skills and provide experiences for those students who have specific needs in their educational journey.

The Summit student will take advantage of exploratory and entrepreneurial work that is self driven with extensive teacher-student collaborations along multiple execution tracks, including projects and opportunities for real-world experiences.

Students who have satisfied 75% of their benchmark standards will be guided along an application process that enables deeper understandings of their interests and academic needs. The application process includes interviews and conferencing that aids students in thoughtfully structuring a myriad of academic possibilities. Short and long term goals, daily work scheduling, and peer to peer accountability are also important components of the Summit experience.
